邹 捍,男,1959年12月生于北京,研究员,博士生导师,低层大气探测研究部主任,中国科学探险协会副主席,中国科协“全国先进科技工编辑”。1983年毕业于中国科学技术大学地球和空间科学系,1993年获得挪威卑尔根大学理学博士学位。1990-1994年在挪威卑尔根大学地球物理研究所工作,1995年回国。主要研究领域:青藏高原、南北极地区、沙漠等地区大气动力学和物理过程,包括野外观测实验、理论分析和数值模拟实验。曾多次领导和参加国家与国际大型野外科学实验和研究项目。例如,上世纪80年代,中科院横断山科学考察,中科院西太平洋科学考察,日本南极科学考察等;上世纪90年代,中日、中挪珠峰大气科学考察,挪威、瑞典北极大气科学研究,中科院南沙科学实验,中国首次北冰洋科学考察;2000年以来,珠峰地区大气环境实验,喜马拉雅山地气交换实验,塔克拉玛干地气交换观测研究等。其中,青藏高原臭氧亏损机制研究在1999年被天空彩票工程院两院院士评为"中国十大科技进展"第三名。发表文章60余篇,代表性论著如下:
